Event planning / Planning notes

Make space for feasibility before commitment.

Use an event brief to surface dependencies, responsibilities and the decisions that cannot be assumed.

Start with the event concept

Describe the purpose, audience, location and timing flexibility. Keep confirmed facts separate from possibilities. An intended date or venue is not the same as a secured one.

Map the people and responsibilities

An event can involve a venue, artists, suppliers and several approval owners. Clarify who is exploring an option, who can agree to it, and who is responsible for delivery before commitments are made.

Treat the digital journey as part of the plan

A website, ticketing route and customer communications depend on the underlying event decisions. Define the required journey, then review the relevant commercial, rights, accessibility and operational questions before enabling it.

A planning note, not a personalised recommendation. Use the assessment to explain your starting point for human review.
